Central Water Treatment System
Iron Removal Plant
Iron Removal Plants are designed to eliminate excess iron content in feed water with minimal pressure drop. These systems operate on the principle of oxidizing iron, converting it from a ferrous (dissolved or soluble) state to a ferric (undissolved) state. Once converted to ferric iron, it precipitates on a filter bed. For water with low iron content, the filter contains Manganese Zeolite, which oxidizes the iron to insoluble hydrated oxides. These oxides are then removed through the mechanical filtering action of the Zeolite bed.
